Here I GO

so i just found out last week that i have been accepted in to Lincoln University for the semester that starts in the fall. i am very very very excited. i think that the trip to new zealand will allow me to work on my photo skills, and be able to hike, camp, surf and snowboard as well. while im there, i hope to be able to go all over both of the islands, and over to Austrailia, to the gold coast, and to Fiji, you know, to check out the beaches. I look forward to getting to know the culture, and to meeting new people, and exploring the islands. Im considering buying a car while im there, maybe splitting it with some people, so we can get around the island easier, and not have to wait for the busses. Alright, im off to the dark room, but ill post some prints later, as that is what im leaving to do.

You Won't Know

So this is my first attempt at portraiture work, so i decided that it would be a good idea to work with someone i was familiar with, Miss Brie. i really love these two pictures, and the entire roll came out amazing. i was very excited about it, and i was glad that she was willing to work with me on it. i think i may have to work a bit more on portraiture work, and i know where to find a model when i need one. seriously, she is gorgeous.

let me know what you think about them...
thanks

Our assignment in photo this past week was to work on double exposures, and while taking them to make the shutter speed half the suggested by the light meter. This one is a record stack with the WBIM logo, my school radio station. i used to intern there, and that was a good time, and i have multiple friends that work there currently, so i decided that it would be a good place to work on double exposures. this was an in camera double, which is a pain in the butt to do, winding the camera, and not knowing how many shots are left on the roll.
This shot was an double exposure that was put together in the enlarger, by sandwich the two negatives together, and hoping for the best... it came out much better than the "in-camera" double. its the mixing board and a locker with many band stickers, also from the radio station... Pax amor fidelis
